sock_dataready

Syntax

int sock_dataready( sock_type *skType );

Parameters

skType

Current socket that will be used to check if data is ready to be read.

Description

This function is used check if there is data ready to be read.

Return Value

Number of bytes ready to be read or -1 if error occurs.

Example

int in;

sock_type *socket;

. . .

in = sock_dataready(socket);

printf("%d", in);
